Hi.  We had lots of April Showers.  Now it’s time for May Flowers!

Recently my art quilt group (The Art Quilt Sew-ciety) decided we would each make an art quilt based on something we saw in everyday life, but it couldn’t just be a picture of that thing.  I was stumped.  Then, one day as I was walking through the CostCo parking lot, I realized that hubcaps are really fun.  And they reminded me of flowers!  So, this is my quilt of flowers inspired by hubcaps.  It is raw edge applique and free-motion quilting.  It makes me smile.  I hope it does the same for you.
