I wish I had taken chemistry.  I imagine mixing fun stuff together to get amazing things – like fireworks, a new flavor for lemonade, a cure for cancer or just pretty colors (like this month’s fun little art quilt).  And then there are the mistakes that are stinky, explosive, gooey, or just a mud-colored waste of good ingredients (which make for great stories later, after the cleanup is done.) 

In this quilt, I mixed colored fabric markers and black, white and gold stitching.  I think it came out pretty fun.
