Those May Flowers have brought June Bugs!

I used to live in Minnesota where the mosquito was referred to as the “state bird.”  I am lucky now to live in the San Francisco Bay area where mosquitos are rare.  (Our disasters are merely wild fires and earthquakes.)  We do have pesky critters that periodically “bug” me.  But a swat usually does the trick.  This year when the Marin County Fair announced its theme as “Bug-tastic!” I decided to create my own bugs; ones that I don’t feel like squishing (except maybe the ants!)
